Thanksgiving Day!

今日は、アメリカの祝日のひとつ、感謝祭（Thanksgiving Day）。七面鳥の日（Turkey Day）と呼んだりもするって。先生が感謝祭について話してくれたよ。
※もともとの由来は神への収穫の感謝にあり、日本でいうお盆のような感じで、家族全員が集まり、夕飯にローストターキー（七面鳥のロースト）とポテト（ベイクドポテトまたはマッシュポテト）、食後にパイを食べます。
Today our teacher told us about the Thanksgiving holiday. The thrid Thursday in November is Thanksgiving Day in the US. On this day families come together to give thanks for their good fortune. They often have a large dinner that includes roast turkey, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie for desert.
