サマースクール Week – 2。今週のテーマは季節。今日は夏に使ううちわを作ったよ。水面にマーブリングインクを流し、水の流れでできた模様をうちわに写しとったよ。
※マーブリング：日本古来の「墨流し」の技法で、紙・布・木・皮などをどんどん染められます。
This week’s theme is “Seasons,” and today we made fans to help keep us cool this summer. We decorated them using *marbling ink. Marbling ink makes colorful, swirling designs. We love Summer School!
*marbling :a method of aqueous surface design, which can produce patterns similar to smooth marble or other stone.
